As the daughter of a physical education teacher, fitness has been a part of my life since I can remember. I ran track at Bates College where I was a sprinter and a team leader in the weight room. After I graduated, I began a career in public relations in Boston, keeping fitness as a passion project. I soon became an ACE certified personal trainer, a Certified Functional Strength Coach (Level 2) and began coaching at OrangeTheory Fitness in Hingham where I still coach today. I also provide personal training in the Hingham area, focusing on strength training, mobility, and sports performance.
Every person's fitness and athletic performance goals are incredibly personal and my approach to getting results reflects this. I customize training for each client's objectives and fitness level, as well as any injuries, sensitivities, and preferences. The best workout is the one you feel good about doing, and that is our goal every time we are in the gym together.
I fell in love with fitness because it is positive, social, fun and challenging. I want my clients to feel the same way. I make sure every workout is effective, safe, meets your individual goals, and also is fun! I like to get people outside of their comfort zones trying new things, but also really drill down on the basics of strength training to create the right physical foundation.
